them hours of fun on a daily basis for a long time to
come. Kids love playing with these outdoor basketball

all their friends will want to come over to play.
If you’re looking to set one up so that
your child can have a new healthy past time outside of the
house, you’re going to need to know which one to buy.
There are a lot of different ones out there and it can be
hard trying to figure out which ones are worth buying and
which ones are no good.
That’s why I’ve whipped up this article
here to give you a quick review on some of the basketball
goals you may want to consider picking up:
1. Lifetime 1225 Pro Court
Height Adjustable Portable Basketball System w/ 44”
Backboard
If money is a concern for you, this is a
great value for the price, it is only $152.99 at
Amazon. It comes with wheels on a 27 gallon base, a
telescoping pole for height adjustment and a backboard made
of high density polyethylene.
This has been rated 4 ½ stars out of 5
across 10 customer reviews. This is great overall,
it’s sturdy and will take a good deal of abuse. The
only downside would be that the backboard is a bit
small.
2. Spalding 72351 Portable
Basketball System w/ 44” Polycarbonate
Backboard
This is a step up from the previous model
and clocks in at $245.59. It is rated 4/5 stars by 27
customers. It’s got adjustable height, is sturdy and
strong with a 3” pole and has a 44”x30” clear
backboard.
The only downside is once it’s filled with
300 pounds of water, you’re pretty much not going to be able
to move it.
3. Mammoth 98862 In-Ground
Basketball System w/60” Backboard
This is the grand-daddy of all outdoor
basketball goals, if you want to get the crème de le crème,
this is it. This will cost you $1,399.99 but it’s as
close to an authentic pro basketball setup as you’re ever
going to get at home.
It’s extremely sturdy, has a great 60”
tempered glass backboard with steel frame that handles
rebounds amazingly and it has easy height adjustment in
comparison to other systems.
One thing though is that it’s a tough job
installing it, it weighs 535 pounds, although that is the
reason why it works so well.
There are many other outdoor basketball
goals to consider, but this should give you a good taste of
what’s available.
